Group B: Wales – Belgium 1-0; Bosnia – Israel 3-1; Andorra – Cyprus 1-3

The remaining groups will be in action today, but the last two days delivered some interesting performances. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hattrick against Armenia. So did Robert Lewandowski for Poland and he managed his three goals in less than four minutes. Gareth Bale scored the winner for Wales against Belgium and qualification is now only steps away.
In other news, Atletico Madrid have announced the signing of Luciano Vietto from Villareal for €20 million. The 21-year old Argentine striker scored 12 goals and provided two assists in 32 La Liga games last season. Valencia have agreed a €12.5 million transfer fee for Sao Paolo’s 21-year old central defender Rodrigo Caio. Valencia have also announced the signing of 22-year old French defensive midfielder Giannelli Imbula for €22 million from Marseille.
Andrea Pirlo is set to remain at Juventus for at least another season, whilst Carlos Tevez seems to be no longer set for a switch to Atletico due to his wage demands. Paul Pogba seems to have become the centre of attention at Manchester City, but at this stage this is pure speculation, although Raheem Sterling’s potential switch to City is edging closer.
We will keep you informed about any changes over the next few days, although speculation seems king these days.
